Pittenweem was Scotland's primary herring fishery, but now is a major tourist destination, being very close to St Andrews and the home of golf.

PLD was asked to build a site to reflect Pittenweem's heritage, its location, and the high quality accommodation on offer from the owner of the property which is the focus of the site.

A lot of original artwork was created for the site, including the main header graphics, and the subtle backgrounds only viewable in higher screen resolutions.

The overall effect is very user friendly, with plain navigation and a clean and uncluttered layout. It also has been provided with an availability enquiry form, which outputs directly as an e-mail to the site owner.
